Description:

Please be advised that the Canvas App on both Android and iOS is currently experiencing a login issue affecting users attempting to sign in for the first time (or re-sign in). Existing sessions are not impacted.

After completing the QUT MFA process, users may encounter an error page. The username shown will be either the student number or staff username. Please see the image below for reference.

We have escalated this issue to the vendor and will provide updates as they become available.


Workaround:
To resolve this, advise users to select the "log in again" link on the error page. This successfully completes the login to the Canvas App. If on an Android device, clear the App's Cache and Data via their App Settings.
